About the City

On behalf of the conference organizing committee, we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate in the International Conference on Biomedical and Environmental Sciences & Technology: DNA Repair and Cancer Intervention (icBEST-2010) to be held on May 9th -12th, 2010 in Beijing, China.
icBEST is previously known as the “International Conference on Frontiers in Biomedical and Environmental Health Sciences”, which has ever been held in Chongqing (2004), Wuhan (2006) and Hangzhou (2008). The two themes of the 2010 meeting are environmental toxicology and basic mechanisms of DNA damage response in the context of cancer biology and cancer intervention, including prevention, risk assessment, therapy, and prognosis. Our aim is to provide an interactive forum to showcase the excellent science being undertaken in the above fields. The scientific sessions are highly topical with an excellent program including keynote lectures, symposia and poster presentations.
We will offer a vibrant and stimulating environment for all participants to share and to exchange their research findings, insightful tips and the state of the art knowledge in their respective fields.  Furthermore, we promise you an enjoyable social setting to experience the cultural heritage of China through Beijing, the capital of China for centuries with its long traditional history, modern dynamics and cultures post-Olympic games.
We encourage you to join us at this innovative and exciting meeting and we look forward to welcoming you to Beijing in May, 2010.
Presidents of the Conference
